A close similarity or affinity to the reality. Social media are interactive computer-mediated technologies that facilitate the creation or sharing of information, ideas, career interests and other forms of expression via virtual communities and networks.
Gone are the days when paper & pen were in vogue to express views. A closely knitted postal system was used to send a written matter to the nooks & corners of the world on price. The matter took months to reach its destiny. So, the impact of things crept like a snails. It had never been able to create a universal culture in our daily lives.
Media started evolving every day with new explorations. There came a time when the torch bearers of progress launched a satellite in the space with a receiving dish on top of the house. Since then the electronic media have been advancing by leaps & bounds in the each corner of the world. Today, the world has become a global village.
The most astonishing of devices which helped everyone to benefit from this universal media are our mobile phones.
Today, we see every happening live in each parts of the world.
As far as, today’s topic of essay is concerned, there is a clear ambiguity to make out it correctly. The term fake identity has multiple aspects. Most of us, who use media as a source of expression, are identifiable. But so far, there’s no check on our identity whether or not, we are using correct identities of us. As such, we are able to hide our actual identities or more often, we share stunning information using fake identities.
The second part of the topic that it is making bad impact on our lives is also ambiguous. The social media are variant in impact on our lives which are good or bad in nature.
It has as many merits as there are demerits in it. Its impacts also depend variably on various people. If knowledge seekers are benefitting from it then there are criminals who are learning different new ways of crimes. If there are medics or engineers seeking professional updates then there are money stealers working around us who empty our pockets by using fraudulent means.
Since these media have replaced the old traditions & means of expressions, so, something more modern would replace these stunning media. Time is not far when this media would populate the racks of the periodic museums. As far as hopes & apprehensions about this debate are concern, we should support optimism as it is more beneficial.
